Project Overview

Cipher AI launched as a raw engineering win—but enterprise buyers only felt the complexity. The assignment was to turn an API into a premium product story: one that signals authority, reads effortlessly, and lets decision-makers feel “smart security, zero friction” before a single integration call.

Working alongside the founders, I rebuilt the brand from first principles: messaging, identity, product visuals, and a Framer site that performs like software. Every touchpoint now tells the same story of vigilance without drag.

Identity Principles

Every component of the brand system had to communicate calm confidence—crafted security that feels effortless to operate. The build focused on three pillars.

Brandmark & Voice System

The Cipher “C” welds shield geometry, node constellations, and signal lines into one unmistakable mark. Stack Sans extends that precision—engineered rhythm with enough warmth to invite trust at boardroom scale.

Signal Pattern

The pattern is not decor. It is the brandmark’s node grid unfolded, visualising encrypted data flows and the choreography of active defence. It animates with purpose across hero canvases and product surfaces.

Icon Language

No stock pictograms. Every glyph is drawn on the same grid as the mark, so the UI speaks with the same discipline as the brand—proving craft in the micro moments where trust is won or lost.

Messaging alone could not sell the promise. We designed interactive moments that make the experience tangible for buyers and technical evaluators alike.

Active Shield Module

Hostile red vectors dissolve on impact with the Cipher shield while verified traffic glides through. It turns a promise into a demonstration: unstoppable protection without throttling business.

Performance Monitor

Leadership needed proof that “zero friction” is measurable. The dashboard distils system telemetry into a single trust metric—sub-one-percent CPU load—so procurement feels efficiency, not marketing speak.

Instead of a static “brain” icon, a living neural lattice signals continuous learning. It communicates that Cipher AI evolves with each threat, reinforcing the message of proactive security.
